Present for the Soul: Day 1

A center is not only a place where you feel safe and balanced,
it is a state that which you become.

Today we will discover a very powerful tool which you can call into your life to find ease, relaxation and center.

Whenever you feel unsafe, bothered or not at ease, riding an emotionally charged wave or just in need to come back into this state with yourself, you can reach out and use this method.

With this practice, you’re allowed to train yourself and take this new habit, root it deeply into the muscular and cellular library, where all the reactions, thoughts, feelings and emotions are being formed and stored throughout our life.

You are most probably here because you feel stuck, curious, or in need of some kind of guidance in order to deepen the connection with yourself and with your environment.

Everything starts in ourselves.

If we feel happy and balanced we are most likely to attract similar qualities in another human being and vice versa. You will know what I mean by this as you deepen your practice.

We have to start by becoming more mindful and aware of what is our driving force.

  • Why am I reacting to certain situations aggressively, with frustration or anger?
  • What is it that creates so much suffering, confusion and stuckness in me?
  • I’ve tried everything but I still feel bothered, anxious, weak, unwanted, unworthy. Why?
  • How can I deal with situations in a way that will bring me growth, clarity, joy and health?

We all have questions like these and this is the perfect place and time to look into the source of all of it. We can meet our questions from a place of balance and reform their roots in a way that the essence and the meaning of our questions will change.
It all depends on our attitude, perspective and patience.

So here we are at the beginning of something very powerful and transforming. This is your opportunity to decide to do this, drop back into your body and release the old patterns to start anew.

In today’s practice, I will mention the central line/axis of our body.
The topic of our central axis is a big question for many people and here I will share my experience and insight into what is the central line.
Just to give you a little bit of guidance, here is a drawing of a human body with the central line. It is an imaginary line running in front of our spine, connecting us to Earth and Sky. This line was formed prior to our spine as an embryo, creating a midline in the cell.

After each guided meditation or movement practice, you will receive a task, so you can bring whatever you’ve learned in here into your day, your job, your practice out there.
Take the opportunity to create a life where you actually enjoy to exist coherently, in balance with nature, Self and others.

Furthermore, you will also receive an affirmation or mantra for that specific day which you can repeat several ways but here’s my tip for it:

Repeat the sentence mentally (silently) with your exhale for 12 breath cycles (one breath cycle: exhale-inhale) so it can sink all the way to your core.

(Read after the meditation)

Take a deep breath in……hold it……let it out…

Task:

I invite you to write down 3 things that you wish to take with you from this session.
It can be a feeling, a sensation, a thought, a sentence that you heard during the meditation but really, anything.

These 3 things will be your helpers throughout the day.

Can you recall the experience you had in the meditation every time you look at these 3 words, sentences or symbols?

Recall it in your body, on your face, in your heart. Whatever you can remember.

This is called a “Resource”. It is given to you so you can find ease, connect with your body and breath to become present again. A resource can be your guide or helper when you feel stuck, stressed or emotionally overwhelmed.

Affirmation:

“Gravity is allowing me to be centred, even if I’m off balance.”

(Repeat this sentence for 12 breath cycles, with each exhales.)
